You want to tell a story about what you built. The problem is nobody knows what to pay attention to.

We make films for companies with real stories to tell. Stories about teams, decisions, failures and growth that nobody else cares enough to bother documenting.

The Problem

Most corporate videos feel made for a meeting, not for people.

The mistake companies make is treating video like a faster way to deliver information. It is not. Video is the way you build belief.

The message is buried

Most corporate videos spend the first two minutes on background that viewers do not care about.

The people feel like actors

On camera work is hard. Most people have never done it. It looks like performance.

The trust level drops

Audiences can feel when a video is made in-house and cut on a tight budget. It shows, no matter how hard you try.

The Firestarter Solution

Stories do what facts cannot

We start with unscripted interviews and watch what story actually emerges. Then we build the film around what makes people trust the people in it.

Unscripted interviews first

We record long form conversations so the story comes from what people actually say, not what you want them to say.

Professional production

The film looks the way it should because we know how. Lighting, sound, editing, color grade and delivery all matter.

Built around the story, not the brand

Your logo is not what sells viewers. The story is. So we build around narrative momentum, not the deliverables list.

Our Process

Our Process

01

Discover & script

We learn the company, identify who actually has a story to tell, and agree what the film needs to do.

02

Pre-production

Unscripted, long form interviews and background research, so the narrative comes from what's actually said.

03

Production

An experienced crew films on location at a pace that keeps interview subjects comfortable, so they talk instead of perform.

04

Edit, grade & deliver

A narrative edit, color, sound design, and delivery in the formats each audience needs.

Why Firestarter

Films that change how people see your company

The interviews drive the edit

We do not start with an outline and force the interviews to fit. We start with the interviews and build the story around what we actually find.

We spend time on locations

We go where the people are. That means there is nobody screaming at them to perform and nobody telling them what to do.

The edit takes the time it needs

We do not cut corners on narrative structure, sound design, or color because the deadline is tight.

You get all the formats

YouTube versions, social cuts, vertical versions, and full archives. Not just the one deliverable.

We do one job really well, not ten jobs badly

We are a small team that takes on a small number of projects at a time. That is how we keep the quality up.

Clients come back for more

Once you understand how this actually works, one film is never the end of the relationship.

Corporate Documentaries, Answered

Most run four to eight weeks from kickoff to delivery: research and interviews first, then filming, then edit and grade. Longer archival or multi location pieces take more time, and we'll give you a real timeline at the brief stage.

Usually a handful of honest interviews is enough, leadership, a few long serving employees, sometimes a customer. We'll scope exactly who and how many once we understand the story.

Yes, that's often the point. One well made documentary is usually cut into several versions for recruiting, investor decks, and internal culture use, rather than commissioned separately each time.

Every interview and cut goes through your approval before it's finished, and we work within whatever confidentiality guidelines your legal or comms team sets.

Reach out through the contact form. We'll set up a short call to understand your company, your people, and what the film needs to do, then follow up with a scope.
