Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Firestarter. Please read it carefully before engaging our services.

1. Nature of Our Services

Firestarter provides bespoke creative and production services including corporate documentaries, storytelling trainings, sponsored content, and affiliate marketing. Because our work involves significant time, talent, and resources invested from the moment a project begins, our refund terms reflect this.

2. Deposits and Advance Payments

All projects require an advance payment or deposit as agreed in the project proposal or contract. Deposits are non-refundable once production work has commenced, as they cover pre-production costs, resource allocation, and planning time.

3. Cancellation Before Production Begins

If you cancel a project in writing before any production work has started, you may be entitled to a refund of the deposit minus any administrative or consultation costs already incurred. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Cancellation After Production Begins

If you cancel after production has commenced, no refund will be issued for work already completed. You will remain liable for the percentage of the project fee proportional to the work completed at the time of cancellation, as determined by Firestarter.

5. Dissatisfaction with Deliverables

We are committed to delivering work that meets the agreed brief. If you are dissatisfied with a deliverable, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will offer reasonable revisions as specified in your project agreement. Refunds are not issued solely on the basis of creative preference differences after the brief has been followed.

6. Training Services

For storytelling training sessions, cancellations made more than 5 business days before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 5 business days are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at our discretion.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, please email us at connect@firestarter.pk with your project details and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

8. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
